DOC-IPC-08 regulates, within the scope of the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure - ICP-Brasil, the audit activities, to be carried out in its digital certification chain.

TYPES OF AUDIT

Audits are classified into PRE-OPERATIONAL and OPERATIONAL

Pre-operational : are the audits carried out before the beginning of the activities of the candidate for Certification Service Provider (PSCert), whether it is a Certification Authority (AC), Time Stamp Authority (ACT) ), Registration Authority (AR), Support Service Provider (PSS), Biometric Service Provider (PSBio) or PSC for Digital Signature and Cryptographic Key Storage;

Operational : are audits performed annually, considered the calendar year, in all PSCert to maintain accreditation with ICP-Brasil. Such audits will take place from the first calendar year following the date of publication in the DOU of the PSCert accreditation.
