Digital inventory bookkeeping remains for 2016
The National Council for Farm Policy (Confaz) issued a rule extending to January 1, 2016 the beginning of the mandatory bookkeeping of the Production and Inventory Control Book, which will become part of the Public Digital Bookkeeping System (Sped). Before, the deadline was January 1, 2015.
The period was extended by AJUSTE SINIEF Nº 17 of 10/21/2014 published in the Official Gazette of 10/23/2014. The obligation is valid for all industrial establishments or equivalent to them by federal law and for wholesale establishments. But at the discretion of the tax authorities it may be required from taxpayers in other sectors.
The book will enter the Digital Fiscal Bookkeeping (EFD) and through its data, the inspection will have control over the complete movement of each item of the stock and will begin to cross in a simpler and faster way the values determined by Sped with the informed by the companies and apply possible assessments.
Block K will replace the book Production and Inventory Control Register and will be part of EFD ICMS / IPI as of January 1, 2016. Its objective will be to inform every month the entire stock of raw materials, products in process, products finished products, losses in the production process and technical data sheets of the products, as well as shipments and returns of products sent for industrialization in other establishments.
With this, the Tax Authorities will have access to the production process and the complete movement of each inventory item, enabling the quantitative crossing of the balances calculated electronically by SPED with those informed by the industries, through the Inventory. The inspection expects a reduction in the issuance of invoices with incorrect information, as well as under-invoiced invoices, “cold” or mirrored invoices, sidewalk bills and half-bills, in addition to handling of inventories.
