FGTS Digital: Deadline for companies to adapt with the platform closes on 10/11/2023

Digital FGTS

What is it?

Digital FGTS is a new form of integrated management of the entire FGTS collection process. Its objective is to improve the collection, the provision of information to workers and employers, the investigation, launch and collection of FGTS resources.

The specification and implementation of the Digital FGTS System is under the responsibility of the Labor Inspection Secretariat (SIT), the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), according to FGTS Curator Council Resolution No. 985 of December 15, 2020.

What is it for?

Using the remuneration declared in eSocial - where debts have been individualized from their source - employers will have a system to generate quick and personalized guides, including collecting multiple skills in a single document, reducing operating costs and time in these activities. In addition, the reversal, refund, compensation and installment processes will be 100% digital.

Several tools will allow the management and complete transparency of the employer's relationship with the fund, with various reports of the collection made, consolidated or detailed extracts by workers and consultations to verify pending issues that impact FGTS regularity certificate - CRF.

It is essential that system users test the features and tools already made available, in particular: the generation of tabs and payment simulation . The bond and remuneration information that is provided in the eSocial environment will reflect on the Digital FGTS. To complete the FGTS collection test, you need to generate guides and simulate payment. With this, the employer will be able to understand some procedures necessary to fulfill his obligation to collect FGTS.

Testing Period:

The test period ends on November 10, 2023. Therefore, it is paramount that employers take the opportunity to know the new system and adapt their work routines. System use tests can guarantee employers a quiet transition and avoid difficulties or problems when replacing in January 2024.

It is important to note that the more users test the system and its functionality, the greater the possibility of identifying opportunities for improvement in the new FGTS collection process, which will start in January 2024.

Digital FGTS Agenda for the coming months:

  • 10/11/2023 - End of the Testing Period in Limited Production
  • 10/11 until 12/31/2023 - Production input system preparation
  • 01/01/2024 - Production input and replacement Systems Caixa
