Federal Revenue Daily Delivery Deadline for June 30

The IRS extended, on Thursday (25), the deadline for the transmission of Digital Accounting Bookkeeping (ECD) of 2023, regarding the calendar year of 2022.
The delivery time, originally scheduled for the last business day of May, was extended for another 30 days.
In a meeting with class representatives, RFB's Undersecretary of Inspection Andréa Costa Chaves explained that teams are working on a new calendar of accessory obligations delivery. Changing the DIRPF and ECD delivery times are examples of improving this process, avoiding excessive concentration of delivery of statements and bookkeeping at certain periods, distributing them more balanced throughout the year.
The IRS points out that the change in DIRPF and ECD delivery dates is not just an extension, but the establishment of new dates in the calendar of compliance with ancillary obligations.
This initiative reflects the IRS's commitment to listening to taxpayers' demands and working in partnership with the accounting class to promote a more favorable business environment.
